7 Days of Election Week: We’ve Heard The Rumors. But Are They True?

By this stage of the election cycle, we’ve all probably heard the same rumors.

Like that Kamala slept her way to the top and is unqualified. (Immediate eyeroll at this one.) Or that Trump has dementia. Or that Kamala will start World War III. Or that Trump will start deporting people immediately after being inaugurated. There’s even claims about the candidates’ running mates, Vance and Walz.

Honestly, some of what is being said is fear-mongering, and sometimes it comes from both sides. It’s all about how things are phrased and where people get their research. (Spoiler alert: not every source is reliable, and you can’t trust something just because it sounds good.)

But is there truth to any of what we’ve heard? Which of these things can we believe? And if true, is it actually an important factor when considering who to vote for?
