I completely agree! I hadn’t thought of how the word “preference” also creeps its way into discussions about sexual orientation, but you are so right. There is nothing preferential about being LGBTQ!

I’m glad people (including myself) are starting to reflect on their own language and open up a dialogue with others about it. Thank you for the food for thought :)
