I really appreciate this article. I felt that you relayed all of this information in a holistic, factual, and serious way, but yet you managed not to be alarmist or terrify people. I agree that the pandemic is still serious and people need to be careful and mindful, as you said—I’m glad you stated this. But I also do believe, as you mentioned too, that we are through the worst of it. Vaccines and boosters are still helpful against the seriousness of this virus and the death rates, which was our goal all along; we knew we couldn’t curb the spread completely.

All in all, I’m just glad this article wasn’t ending with a proclamation like “Just wait until it spikes soon” or “We’re in for a long winter.” Statements like those, I think, make people instantly fearful and thus apathetic. This was so well-written and well done and I hope people are responsive to your message.
