Thank you so much for reading, I'm so glad you liked it! It helps me also to know the challenge is more universal and not just me. I wish I could say we stayed together, but unfortunately, he had some manipulative tendencies and quite possibly could've been like your ex where he was just gauging what he wanted me to hear. I think some parts of it were genuine, but as a person, he disappointed me and began to get more narcissistic/manipulative, so it was not a good match. Still, it was an important life lesson for me though! Peace to you :)
