Thank you so much for your comment! I referred to ADHD as a mental illness because it is listed in the DSM-5 as being a disorder that meets the criteria for mental illness (even though it is more related to behavioral/neurological factors). Still, I realize that it may sound improper and even offensive to refer to it like that, and I apologize — I should have made a stronger distinction. I hear you, and I appreciate you letting me know that this is something I should edit. I will go back tonight and fix that term. :)
