This is absolutely true. Frankly there are so many contributing factors that I am sure I missed several more—it’s hard to cover in one article! I agree that domestic violence is a huge contributor and the reason it gets to the point of a mass shooting is because law enforcement still does not take domestic violence seriously enough, or at all. (Another manifestation of misogyny since domestic violence is more common in women.)

I really appreciate you contributing this. I love it when people add on or point out things I missed. It certainly makes me reflect!
