This is an outstanding point and thank you for this comment! That is definitely something I reflected on and I'm sorry it didn't come through in the article. That's actually why I think women's financial literacy should be celebrated and treated as a stronger skill--we are already used to such multi-faceted thinking and constantly having to walk through multiple possibilities. Even when walking home at night we are thinking critically about how to approach the situation. This should absolutely be celebrated as a side of girl math! :)
